Trading Fees
Understand when fees apply and how execution price affects the amount you pay
Trading fees depend on the market category, execution price, and filled quantity. The order preview shows the estimated amount before you sign.
Fee structure
Taker fees follow a curve instead of charging one flat percentage of order value:
estimated taker fee = shares × effective rate × [price × (1 - price)]The fee is highest at 50¢ and decreases symmetrically toward 0¢ and 100¢. Each fill is calculated and rounded separately.

When fees apply
- Market orders remove liquidity and pay the taker fee.
- Limit orders pay the taker fee when they execute immediately against existing liquidity.
- A resting limit order that adds liquidity is treated as a maker order.
- If an order fills in several trades, its final fee is the sum of the individual fill fees. Unfilled quantity is not charged.
Maker fees are flat rather than curved. The recommended maker fee is 0%, but this site may enable one. Any applicable maker fee is shown in the order preview.
Precision and verification
Fees are rounded to five decimal places. Amounts below 0.00001 USDC round to zero. Check the order preview before signing and Portfolio → History after execution for the final amount.
